I am a visiting PhD student from LMCAL (Laboratório de Manipulação Coerente de Átomos e Luz, Laboratory of Coherent Manipulation of Atoms and Light) at USP (University of São Paulo, Brasil). There I work in the experimentally implementation of a teleportation protocol in continuous variables, using entangled beams generated by spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC) as the quantum channel. Now I am currently working in the QUIT group, building an experiment at the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI), that will generate multi-photon states by SPDC, so we can use them to investigate entanglement properties.
